The New Year and setting of goals and resolutions go hand in hand — we all feel that with the advent of a new year the slate can be wiped clean and we can give up all our bad habits for a great new start – be it financial goals, health goals or simply giving up those odd vices. While it’s easy to write down New Year’s resolutions, the tough part is taking ourselves off “auto-pilot” long enough to re-evaluate our overall direction. We need to make sure that we are setting goals with clarity and not unattainable ones that get struck off at the end of week 1!
