Ranu Mehta-Radia is a well-known Community Champion and has dedicated 30 years in making a difference in many areas such as disabilities, education and youth. She was nominated for Tesco Mum last year as founder of Sai School of Harrow and beat 6000 competitors to scoop Tesco Enterprising Mum of the Year 2014.  She was invited to meet the Prime Minister on International Women’s Day. During her 10 year tenure at Community Link Up, a learning disability charity, she set up award winning projects including the 1st radio station run and managed by people with disabilities, a beauty and make over course for young ladies with learning disabilities, Changes Night Club and a computer club for children and young people with special needs. Ranu is currently with Seva Care Group, which provides high quality care for the elderly and people with learning disabilities.
