Are you a vegetarian, vegan or flexitarian? Do you know the difference between them?! Well, a vegetarian is something who lives on a diet of grain, pulses, nuts, seeds, vegetables and fruits with, or without, the use of dairy products and eggs. Vegetarians do not eat any meat, poultry, game, fish, or by-products of slaughter. Vegans differ from vegetarians as they do not eat dairy products, eggs, or any other products which are derived from animals including honey. In contrast to both of these, a flexitarian diet is a plant-based diet with the occasional addition of meat. It is also known as flexible vegetarians because, quite simply, there are no rules! Do you want to know more about these diets? Maybe you want to know how to eat healthily while following one of these? Or maybe you want to know where to get certain nutrients from that one of these diets don’t allow.
