Gurpreet Chaddha is a Solicitor in the Immigration Department. He did the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test and was admitted as a solicitor in 2004. He is qualified under the Law Society’s Immigration and Asylum Accreditation scheme as a Senior Caseworker, which allows him to specialise in Immigration and Nationality law and provide legal help for publicly funded work under the firm’s Legal Services Commission franchise. He has completed his Reaccreditation and he qualifies to undertake Immigration and asylum work as a Senior Caseworker. He specialises in Asylum and Immigration appeals, Asylum applications; general immigration matters such as entry clearance appeals, Domestic violence applications, in-country visa applications, family reunion and Nationality matters. He represents detained clients with their asylum applications under the Fast track scheme. He also represents clients in appeal or bail matters before the First Tier Tribunal. He has recently assisted clients in Judicial Review applications before the Administrative Court. Gurpreet has successfully represented clients in Managed Migration appeals (Tier 1) and visitor’s visa appeal before the First Trier Tribunal. He has considerable experience as an Advocate in India.
