Dr Anish Bahra is a consultant neurologist at Bartshealth, Whipps Cross Hospital and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, London. Dr Bahra trained at Bristol University and spent her medical training in Neurology between Wellington, New Zealand and London. She completed her research at the Institute of Neurology, UCL, where she investigated mechanisms in headache disorders.

Dr Bahra has been involved in the development of a general neurology service at Whipps Cross Hospital, a tertiary Headache Service at the National Hospital for Neurology and a multidisciplinary neurostimulation clinic at Barts and the Royal  London Hospitals. She has been an active member of BASH (British Association for the Study of Headache) and is currently involved in developing the BASH guidelines for Headache, and those for the Brain and Spine Cancer Pathway Board.
